Gerard Burkhart is a multifaceted photographer with the depth of talent
and experience to excel at any photographic task.
Currently, Gerard is freelancing for a variety of publications including the New York Times, Philadelphia Inquirer and Agence France Presse. His photos have been published in Newsweek, U.S News and World Report, USA Today, Washington Post, People, Der Spiegel and others.
He worked at the Los Angeles Times for 6 1/2 years where his photos were included in three collaborative effort Pulitzer Prize winning editions. Previously, he was a staff photographer at the Los Angeles Daily News.
Gerard is based in Los Angeles, CA where he lives with his wife and
seven-year-old daughter.
